Functions
YM-58483 is a CRAC (calcium release-activated calcium) channel blocker, a prototypic store-operated calcium channel. Inhibits antigen-induced histamine release via modulation of mast cell responses. Displays potent analgesic actions in various pain models in mice and is orally active. Inhibits T cell-mediated immune responses in vivo.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 40 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
