Functions

RVX-208 is a potent BET bromodomain antagonist with IC50 of 0.510 μM for BD2, with approximately 170-fold selectivity over BD1.  Increases apolipoprotein A-1 and HDL cholesterol in vitro and in vivo.  Reduces atherosclerosis.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 75 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 4 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
