Tribioscience Retro-CAG-eGFP-VSVG

Retro-CAG-eGFP-VSVG was packaged in HEK293T cells with Ca₃(PO₄)₂ transfection of 3 plasmids of pRetro-CAGGFP, pRetro-RC, and pCMV-VSVG. The pRetro-CAGGFP was constructed by using the components of Moloney Murine Leukemia virus (MoMLV), a combination of the cytomegalovirus (CMV) early enhancer element and chicken beta-actin promoter (CAG), and enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) expression cassette. RetroCAG-eGFP-VSVG is a replication deficient virus and has potentials to infect many types of cell and tissue. It belongs to biosafety level-1 (BSL-1). Retro-CAG-eGFP-VSVG is provided as concentrated viral supernatant at a titer around 107 IU/ml in HEK293T cells.
