Bcl-2 antagonist. Induces apoptosis

Functions

A novel Bcl-2 homology domain-3 (BH3) mimetic. Inhibits primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) progenitor cell proliferation (IC50=0.18 μM) and induces apoptosis in primary AML cells (IC50= 3.6 μM). Synergizes with other agents such as chloroquine and cytarabine in cytotoxicity against a variety of cancer cells.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
