Functions
ID-8 enhances stem cell proliferation and protects pluripotency in culture. It inhibits members of the dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase (DYRK) and carbonic anhydrase families. Stimulates human kidney tubular epithelial cell proliferation. Shows antioxidant and antiradical properties.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 10 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
