Casein kinase 2 inhibitor

Functions

Potent inhibitor of casein kinase 2 (CK2; IC50 = 7 nM). Showed no inhibition of DYRK, HIPK, CLK, and PIM family kinases.  It is a circadian clock modifier that caused strong period lengthening. Growth of MLL-AF9 leukemia cells was strongly inhibited by GO289.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
