CARP-1 mimetic

Functions

CARP-1 functional mimetic. Interferes with CARP-1 binding to APC-2 (IC50=10-15 μM). Enhances CARP-1 expression and induces G2/M cell cycle arrest. Induces apoptosis and suppresses growth of medulloblastoma cells and malignant pleural mesothelioma cells.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (greater than 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
