STING antagonist
Functions
C-176 is an inhibitor of the signaling molecule STING in mouse cells. It covalently binds to Cys91 of STING preventing activation via blockade of palmitoylation at Cys91. Treatment of Trex-/- mice with C-176 resulted in a significant reduction in serum levels of Type I Interferons and amelioration of systemic inflammation.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
