Description: TIGIT is an inhibitory receptor expressed on NK cells and T cells. It binds to ligands such as the poliovirus receptor (PVR) and nectin (CD112), which are expressed by antigen-presenting cells and stressed cells, including malignant and virus-infected cells. TIGIT blockade therapies have been shown to enhance NK cell-mediated anti-tumor responses and support CD8+ T cell activity.
