Represents a novel class of ansamycins. Inhibits osteoclastic bone resorption. Potentiates the activity of several clinically useful antitumor agents. Translation inhibitor which prevents ICAM-1 expression induced by pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO, DMF, ethanol and methanol, then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO, DMF, ethanol and methanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
