Cellulose Acetate (CA): CA membrane filter has low binding characteristic and superior strength. It provides high throughputs and is often used in protein filtration, biological fluid filtration, and other applications.

Nylon: Nylon membrane filter has superior strength, which allows it withstand aggressive handling thus being used in automated equipment. It is a naturally hydrophilic membrane, thus there is no need for the wetting agents that might interfere with the process. It is often used in HPLC sample preparation and clarification of aqueous solvent solutions.

Polyvinylidene Difluoride (PVDF): PVDF membrane filter has superior properties including high thermal stability (good heat resistance), superior chemical resistance, and strong strength. It is often used in clarification of biological solutions, filtration for high protein recovery, organic solvents filtration, etc.

Polyethersulfone (PES): PES membrane filter has characteristics like low protein and drug binding, low extractables, and broad chemical tolerance. With these superior properties, it is often used in medical and life science related fields.

Mixed Cellulose Ester (MCE): MCE membrane filter is composed of cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate. It is biologically inert, thus widely used in research and analytical application. It is often used in aqueous filtration, microbiological and particulate analysis, and air monitoring.
