Indium Tin Oxide Blue (In2O3:SnO2 or ITO)  is mainly used in the production of liquid crystal displays, flat panel displays, plasma displays, touch screens, electronic paper, organic light-emitting diodes, solar cells and anti-static coating, as well as transparent transmission of EMI shielding to the coating.  ITO is also used for various optical coatings. The most notable ideas include IR-reflective coating (hot mirror) in architecture, automotive, and sodium vapor lamp glass, etc. Other applications include gas sensors, anti-reflection coatings, and Bragg reflectors for VCSEL lasers. ITO films can be used in high temperature 1400 degrees and harsh environment, such as gas turbine, spray engine, rocket engines and has even ben made into strain gauges for these type of environments.
