Product details
Tantalum (Ta) has a very high melting point (>3000 ℃) and great corrosive resistance to molten metal, making it an ideal material to make crucibles for advanced alloys production. Tantalum crucibles are widely used in manufacturing super alloys, electron-beam melting, metallurgical, machinery processing, glass, and ceramic industries.
Powder processing is recommended before the calcination. MSE Supplies offers a variety of balling milling equipment and accessories for powder processing.

Recommended fill rate: 67~75%
Recommend to use under inert gas. Use under air or oxygen-rich environment will cause the oxidation of Ta crucible and shorten the crucible life time.
