Introduction
OHARA SK1300 is a high-quality optical glass substrate that has high purity and lower hydroxyl (OH) content compared to traditional methods, making it suitable for semiconductor and liquid crystal display applications.
SK1300 offers excellent light transmission, particularly in the ultraviolet and visible wavelengths, with a typical transmission rate above 90%. It features good mechanical strength, heat resistance, and chemical durability. Its low dispersion and minimal birefringence make it ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications for semiconductors, optical and all physical or chemical related research featuring these applications:
- Various devices such as TFT (poly-Si thin-film transistor LCD) and SOI (Silicon on Insulator).
- Photomask substrates for ultra-LSI and LCD.
- Reactor furnace tubes, jigs and tools for ULSI manufacturing processes.
- Electrical-discharge lamp tubes.
- Optical elements, lenses, mirrors, and windows for ultraviolet and vacuum ultraviolet.
