LabExact® Disposable non-sterile Cellulose Acetate hydrophilic filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting.  They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on barrel. Excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency.  The unique concentric funnel shaped barrel increases volume and decreases back pressure. Very low binding capacity for proteins.  Cellulose acetate is nitrate-free making it suitable for groundwater & EPA ASTM’s.  Use for filtration under sterile conditions or filtration and clarification of biological fluids, sterilization of media additives and serum and sample preparation of aqueous or protein-based HPLC solutions. Use for applications requiring maximum sample recovery.  Designed to sterilize and remove particulates from even the most viscous proteinaceous samples.  Use with a glass fiber prefilter to filter tissues culture media.
