Background
CD61 is a membrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 105KDa expressed on platelets, megakaryocytes, osteoclasts, and vascular endothelial cells. CD61 is mainly used to identify platelets and their precursor cells, and can also be used for the diagnosis of megakaryoblastic leukemia.
