Applications
Trypsin & serine protease inhibitor
Functions
Reversible inhibitor of trypsin and trypsin-like enzymes and other serine proteases. Concentration used for general protease inhibition is 1 mM. Also a competitive inhibitor of thrombin and plasmin. May be added to blood samples to prevent proteolytic degradation of various peptide analytes such as glucagon and TRH.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in Water (up to 50 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer.
