Functions
An adenosine analog lacking the hydroxyl at the 3’ position. Inhibits PARP1 and polyadenylation. Displays anti-inflammatory effects and neuroprotective effects by inhibiting Aβ-induced apoptosis in hippocampal neurons. Induces apoptosis in a variety of cancer cell lines. Displays antiobesity effects. Inhibits cell senescence via activation of AMPK. Maintains stem cell pluripotency and increases iPS cell generation efficiency.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
