Extraction is performed using a four‑stage purification workflow consisting of binding, wash, and elution steps. Manual plate transfer between stations provides operational flexibility while maintaining excellent reproducibility and low variation (CV <3%).
As an open system, the extractor is compatible with a wide variety of reagent kits and standard laboratory consumables. - The MSE PRO AutoPure DNA/RNA Extractor – Semi‑Automatic is an advanced automatic magnetic bead-based system designed for high-yield and high-purity extraction of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) and proteins from a wide range of hazardous and non-hazardous samples, including viral, bacterial, fungal, blood, plasma, urine, serum, plant, seed, and food materials. This benchtop, open-system model is compatible with multiple reagent kits and standard laboratory consumables, enabling easy automation of DNA/RNA and protein extraction protocols along with their associated purification steps.
- The system utilizes a four-stage purification and extraction process consisting of one binding step, up to two washing steps, and one elution step. Each stage is fully
controlled by a programmed protocol specific to each station. The 96-well plate must be manually interchanged after the completion of each station’s protocol. The total processing time for all stations ranges from10 to 40 minutes, depending on the selected protocol and reagents. - Designed to deliver the highest purity and yield, the extracted DNA/RNA is ideal for
downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR, and sequencing. - The 96 Deep Well Plate (V-Bottom) used in the system ensures high-efficiency sample processing and particle collection, supporting particle sizes above 1 μm with a collection efficiency greater than 98%. It provides exceptional purification accuracy with a positive rate exceeding 95% for 100-copy samples and excellent stability (CV <3%). The plate accommodates a wide range of processing volumes—50–1000 μl for 96 Deep Well formats, 200–5000 μl for 24 Deep Well formats, and 20–200 μl for standard 96 Well Plates—with elution volumes ranging from 30 μl to 100 μl, ensuring flexibility and consistent high-performance results for diverse laboratory applications.
