Introduction

The MSE PRO Hydrophilic PP Separator Film is engineered for high-performance zinc-ion battery applications. Constructed from a polypropylene (PP) membrane combined with non-woven fabric and treated through a sulfonation-based hydrophilic process, this separator offers excellent electrolyte wettability, enhanced ionic transport, and stable electrochemical performance.

The hydrophilic modification significantly improves electrolyte absorption and promotes uniform zinc-ion distribution, helping to enhance battery efficiency, cycling stability, and safety.

Prohibition of Over-limit Use

The temperature should be <80°C and prolonged baking is not recommended.

Storage Conditions

Temperature 10-25°C (avoid freezing or high temperature)
away from heat sources/strong light sources (ultraviolet light accelerates aging).

Precautions

Anti-pollution Operation

Wear gloves during operation and do not touch the membrane
surface with bare hands to avoid oil pollution leading to a decrease in hydrophilicity.

Electrolyte Compatibility

Only applicable to aqueous electrolytes with pH 4-14 (such as ZnSO₄ KOH-ZnO etc); Strictly
avoid contact with organic solvents (EC/DMC) and strong oxidizing
acids (concentrated H₂SO₄/HNO₃).

Failure Warning

If not used for a long time after opening it needs to be resealed
with a desiccant; Stop using it when local water spots or curl deformation appear.
