MSE PRO Four-Point Probe Cable for sample Size > 5cm2
Introduction
The JIS-certified four-point probe cable is designed for precise measurement of sheet resistance in thin films such as ITO, IZO, metal and so on. Sheet resistance is a critical parameter in material science, semiconductor research, and electronic device fabrication. Equipped with spring-loaded probes featuring R-shaped tips coated with rhodium, the cable ensures reliable electrical contact while minimizing the risk of surface damage to delicate films. Its specialized design enhances measurement accuracy by reducing contact resistance effects.
Due to the sensitive nature of the probe tips, careful handling is essential to maintain performance and longevity. Incorrect connections or exposure to excessive current may damage the probe, compromising measurement accuracy. For optimal results and durability, this probe should be used exclusively for sheet resistance measurements in thin-film applications.
