Refractometer Analytical Service

Overview

Refractometer, also known as a refractive index meter, is an instrument that uses light to measure the concentration of liquids. It is used to determine refractive index, birefringence, and optical properties. The refractive index is one of the essential physical constants of a substance.

Sample Requirements

Solution samples require at least 5 mL, primarily in liquid form. The samples must be transparent, as powder or solid samples will not produce a signal. By default, each sample is tested three times, providing three results and an average value.

Analytical Service Minimum order requirement: $250 per order. A $200 handling fee will be applied if order is below $250.
