Overview
X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry is an elemental analysis technique with broad application in science and industry. XRF is based on the principle that individual atoms, when excited by an external energy source, emit X-Ray photons of a characteristic energy or wavelength. By counting the number of photons of each energy emitted from a sample, the elements present may be identified and quantities.
MSE Supplies XRF product is based on a German technology, used to measure the composition and purity of materials and is mainly applied in industrial quality control and in process control for manufacturing processes in industries such as Jewelry, Metals and Mining, Construction materials and Chemicals.

Technology
Silicon Drift Detector (SDD)
Based on high resolution SDD which is ultimate for alloys analyzing industry it’s high resolution helps better repeatability and accuracy of measurement. SDD has better energy resolution than a Si-PIN of the Same area. The SDD has much better energy resolution at short peaking times, which is particularly helpful at high count rates. At the noise corner (the peaking time where the noise is minimal) the SDD’s resolution is still better. So where the highest resolution is needed, or where good resolution is needed at high count rates, the SDD is the choice. Proportional Counter, Silicon Pin Detector and Silicon Drift Detector are the solutions offered on MSE Supplies XRF Products.
Proportional Counter Detector
Based on Gas filled prop counter for measuring most common alloys including gold for jewelry industry. Gas filled Proportional counter has distinct advantages like high efficiency, wide bandwidth larger area where it can be scaled to almost arbitrarily large size.

Product
The development of bench top XRF instruments has greatly expanded the range of samples suitable for analysis. The Top to Bottom XRAY helps in direct exposure of rays on the samples by reaching difficult areas like inner diameters of any given sample thus giving better penetration reach.
Due to its compact and sturdy design Cube occupies less space makes it best suitable for even smaller space environments.

Collimators
A collimator is a device that narrows a beam of particles or waves. Narrow means to cause the directions of motion to become more aligned in a specific direction Cube has collimator options from 0.3 to 0.5 mmØ for generating narrow X-Ray beams for better accuracy and results.

X-Master software is user friendly and easy to use with non-editable results. X-Master has both Empirical and Fundamental method of measurement. X-MasteR has ease for creation of required application for coating thickness.

Software
X-Master is the user-friendly operating software for the modern suit of X-Ray systems. This program used most modern software
tools available for Windows® operating platforms. The main task of the operating software is the control of all system parameters such as high voltage settings, X-Ray tube current, display of collimators and filters as well as the collection and manipulation of the measurement data.
