Plano Concave Lenses, as the name indicates, has a flat surface and a concave surface. The edges are thicker than the center and thus they have a negative focal length. They are usually used to diverse parallel lights and reduce spherical aberration, coma and distortion in different optical systems such as projectors, beam expanders, etc.
