DNA methyltransferase inhibitor
Functions
A non-nucleoside DNA methyltransferase inhibitor. IC50=115 nM Inhibits DNA methylation in human tumor cell lines without toxicity. Enhances the reversion of neural progenitor cells to the pluripotent state.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 100 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 100 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
