Description
Type I collagen, a fibril-forming protein, provides mechanical stability, strength, and toughness to various body tissues, including cornea, tendon, bone, skin, and dentin. This high-purity collagen (97% Type I) has low lysine hydroxylation and minimal carbohydrate content, making it highly suitable for specialized biomedical applications.
Solution Components
Collagen Type I Solution in 0.025M Acetic acid, 3 mg/mL, pH 2.0. The solution is characterized by a high monomer content, verified via gel permeation chromatography.
