Functions
L-Theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in tea leaves. It is able to cross the blood brain barrier and has been shown to have psychoactive effects including cognition improvement, reduction of physical and mental stress responses, anxiety and mood improvement. Various studies conclude that L-Theanine can act in a positive synergistic manner with caffeine to improve cognition and mood.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in Water (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
