Dynamin inhibitor
Functions
Dynamin I/II inhibitor targeting the dynamin-phospholipid interaction and inhibiting dynamin GTPase activity with a Ki=940nM. Rapidly and reversibly inhibits multiple forms of endocytosis with no acute cellular damage. A useful pharmacological tool for studying dynamin-mediated trafficking events. Induces cytokinesis failure and apoptosis in human cancer cells. Induces cytoprotective autophagy in human Jurkat T cells.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 10 mg/ml), in Ethanol (up to 60 mg/ml) or in Water (up to 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO, ethanol or distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
