MSE supplies offers BK7 Protected Silver Mirrors. Protected silver coating offers a higher surface reflectivity than the enhanced aluminum coating. It provides an average reflection of approximately 95% in the visible wavelength range. This coating is a hybrid shelf life. The silver layer is protected both underneath and above with dielectric layers which minimizes tarnishing and allows cleaning by normal laboratory methods. These mirrors have very high reflectivity from 0.45m through to the infrared spectrum.
