Introduction
The Hiner-pack® Snap-on Clips For 4-inch Waffle Pack (102.67×100.59×6.5)mm with 1+1 Capacity, 1 Clip is an accessory that locks the tray and cover together by applying uniform compression along the tray edges. This prevents die movement, offsets lid or tray warpage, and ensures stack stability during handling, shipping, or automated processing. The product is available in static-dissipative or conductive formulations.
Application
The 4-inch Waffle Pack Clip protects die and substrates such as thin film capacitors, shims, RF switches, MMICs, pedestals, etc. from damage when shipped in industry standard waffle pack chip trays. It can hold stacked trays and covers with snaps, making it easier to maneuver than traditional clips. The height of the clip/clamp can be customized to fit chip trays of different thicknesses.
