Introduction

LATP (Lithium Aluminum Titanium Phosphate, Li₁.₃Al₀.₃Ti₁.₇(PO₄)₃) is a NASICON-type ceramic solid electrolyte widely used in solid-state lithium battery research. It features high ionic conductivity, excellent chemical and thermal stability, and good compatibility with electrode materials. LATP solid-state electrolytic sheets are commonly applied in all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries, as well as in coating, separator, and interface studies for advanced energy storage systems.

  • Storage: Keep sealed in original packaging. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat, fire sources, and oxidizing materials. 

  • Handling: Handle with clean gloves and avoid moisture exposure or mechanical damage (cracking/chipping).

  • Usage: Intended for solid-state lithium-ion battery research, ceramic solid electrolyte applications, and coating/separator studies.

  • Safety: Use standard lab PPE (gloves, eye protection). Avoid inhaling dust if material is broken.

  • Environment: Keep in low-humidity conditions to maintain performance and stability.

  • Size & Material: Diameter 13 mm, thickness 1 mm; sintered ceramic electrolyte sheet (not pressed powder), featuring high hardness but brittle nature.

  • Stability: Stable in air and moisture under normal lab conditions, but not compatible with direct contact with lithium metal, a protective interlayer is required.

  • Handling: Avoid uneven or excessive pressure and do not roll-press; handle carefully to prevent cracking.

  • Testing & Assembly: Fine polish before conductivity testing, apply gold coating for EIS measurement; suitable for CR2032 coin cell assembly with reduced sealing pressure.
