MSE PRO™ 3N (99.9%) Yttrium (Y) Pieces (<12mm) Evaporation Materials
Yttrium (Y) is a silvery-metallic rare-earth element. The major use of Yttrium is for LEDs and phosphors. It is also used in the production of electrodes, electrolytes, electronic filters, lasers, superconductors, various medical applications, and tracing various materials. It is usually co-evaporated with other materials or in different atmospheres to make compound thin films.
Due to the highly reactive nature of these materials, packaging in oil is required to reduce the opportunity for oxidation or other reaction.
The dimensions and purities can be customized upon request. Please contact us for customization or bulk orders.
