  5. Non-skirted PCR plates: These plates have no flanges or skirts and are primarily used for manual PCR applications. They are less stable compared to skirted or semi-skirted plates but can be cost-effective for small-scale experiments.

  6. Optical PCR plates: Optical plates are designed for real-time PCR applications where fluorescence detection is required. They have clear bottoms or optical caps that allow for accurate monitoring of the amplification process.

  7. PCR tube strips: PCR tube strips consist of multiple PCR tubes arranged in a single strip. They are suitable for small-scale experiments or when a lower number of reactions are required.

It's important to note that different manufacturers may offer variations of these plate types, and the specific features and dimensions of PCR plates can vary. Researchers should choose the appropriate plate type based on their experimental needs and the equipment they are using.
