  • MIT remained at the top spot.
  • The names on the top 5 list did not change.  MIT, UCSB, Northwestern, Stanford and UIUC are still the best ranked 5 programs.
  • Interesting enough, the names on the top 11 (including ties) were still the same, with Georgia Tech moved up the most from #9 to #6.
  • RPI dropped from #18 to #24, while NCSU rose up from #21 to #18.
  • In the #20-30 range, Iowa State climbed to #24 from #29.   In contrast, U Washington slipped from #22 to #28.
  • Rutgers had the most decline in ranking, and was at #47 as compared to #35 on last year's list.
  • U Conn was at #43 this year versus last year's ranking of #49.
  • Missouri Univ. of Science and Tech rose to #47 this year from #61 a year ago.
  • Texas A&M was new to the list this year at #39.
  • Univ. of S. California was only at #39 on the 2015 list, but was at #33 on this year's list.
