MSE PRO™ 500g Lithium Polyacrylate PAALi Aqueous Binder for Battery Research

Product Details:

Lithium polyacrylate (PAALi, LiPAA) is a water-soluble binder that contributes to increasing the adhesion effect between the fibers. It can significantly enhance the electrochemical performance of cathodes and anodes, because it is an ion-conducting polymer that contains excess Li+ ions, which it can donate to make up the Li loss. When used for silicon based battery, the poly(alkali acrylate) binder remarkably improved the electrochemical lithiation and delithiation performance of the silicon-graphite electrode compared to that of conventional binders. The polyacrylate coating on Si and graphite particles suppressed the electrode deterioration.
