Product Details:

Poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) is a polymer of acrylic acid, which has a carboxylic group on each monomer unit. The carboxyl groups can form strong hydrogen bonds with both the electrode active material and current collector. The typical benefits of using PAA binder include reduced DC internal resistance, improved cycling performance, power characteristics, low temperature performance, and reduced expansion. PAA binder is widely used for slurry preparation of silicon anode material, LiFePO4, lithium sulfur battery and sodium ion battery electrode. Compared with carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) binder, the silicon anode using PAA binder has better cycling performance.
