Using b.safe PFA fittings or laboratory screw connections for GL18 and GL14 ports, tubes can be guided down to the bottom of the barrel, securely fixed, and tightly sealed at the connection point. The b.safe ventilation valve is specially designed for the flow rates typical in HPLC systems. The integrated check valve prevents solvent evaporation and allows ambient air to flow into the barrel in case of underpressure. The upstream porous PTFE membrane effectively blocks dirt particles and other external contaminants. The replacement indicator makes it easy to monitor the 6-month service life: simply activate it at the push of a button and replace the valve when the indicator turns completely red—or document the replacement date manually and clip the indicator onto the valve. The measuring lance of the HPLC Eluent Control Cap monitors the liquid level in laboratory barrels and prevents it from falling below a residual volume of approximately 10%.
