Cadmium Tungstate (CdWO4) Single Crystal is a yellow to colorless (depends on the the annealing) crystal. It is a high density, low afterglow, high resistance to radiation damage and high Z scintillator with high light yield. The peak scintillation wavelength of CdWO4 crystal is around 480nm. Because of these superior properties, CdWO4 single crystal is widely used for radiation detector, high energy physics, container inspection, and other applications.
