Tube Roller RM 2 (Edmund Buhler, Made in Germany)
The Edmund Buhler tube roller comes with 6 removable plastic rollers and a spill tray. Gentle tilting while rotating ensures uniform mixing. This roller accommodates all standard tube sizes, flasks, and universal vessels up to 80mm in diameter.
- Western blotting This roller is ideal for processing membranes in 15 and 50 mL conical tubes.
- Respending cell culture pellets Gentle mixing protects cells from shear stress that comes from pipetting up and down.
- Blood tubes Gentle motions reduce blood clotting.
- Prevention of sedimentation of samples Without proper mixing, microbiological sampling of suspensions prone to sedimentation will be biased.
